For answers to these questions, First Stop Safety have organised a combined Noise at Work Course and In-depth Workshop.
Course and Workshop details
We use plain language to provide answers to
all the above questions and many more. Many experts involved with Noise
measurements tend to use technical jargon, which tends to confuse rather
than inform. At First Stop Safety, we set out to inform from the very start
and demystify the whole area of Noise at Work.
This course package consists of a Distance Learning element followed by a
one day in-depth workshop, designed to provide delegates with an expert
insight into the whole area of Noise at Work.
The Distance Learning material will take about half a day to complete and
should initiate delegates into the basic requirements of Noise at Work and
become familiar with the terminology. It will be sent prior to the in-depth
workshop. A satisfactory level of understanding will have to be achieved
before attending the full day workshop.
After attending the one day in-depth workshop, the delegates should be
prepared to handle most Noise at Work problems with confidence and be able
to safeguard the hearing of staff.
Everyone attending the course will receive a comprehensive pack of
information that will assist in meeting the requirements of the Control of
Noise at Work regulations. They will also receive a copy of the regulations.
Lunch and all refreshments are included in the course costs. Those passing
the in-depth workshop assessment will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
